BDB is what happens when Midwest work ethic meets West Coast Innovation. Our roots have given us a foundation we’re proud of: The desire to work hard, respect one another and keep things simple. Like most rebels, we felt there was more to explore. Carrying our midwest values to the west coast have served to be a lethal combination. The future we are creating makes asking questions acceptable, vulnerability a non-negotiable and a tenacity to do what’s right for you (even when it’s not popular) the obvious decision. Like most organizations, our strengths reflect the talents of our leaders. As long as Gary and Krysta are at the helm, we can promise that why your brand exists will always be as important to us as how your brand is perceived. Krysta Masciale co-founded BDB in 2011 and continues to lead the agency as CEO, shaping our company’s culture and leading our strategy team. She has a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in Integrated Marketing and Communications and a graduate degree from Chapman University in Organizational Leadership. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, son and two dogs.
Gary Christenson co-founded BDB in 2011 and continues to lead the agency as Creative Director, shaping our approach to design and media while leading our creative team. Gary has designed for such companies as: Comedy Central, Wall Street Journal, Mars Candy Company, The Economist, and CNN. He has a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Seattle, WA.
